Let’s admit something, Zenitsu is a bit cowardly.
He also has rather a low self-esteem despite his strength.
But, we must not forget something either.
He has the speed of a god (although he can only use this ability 2 times a day), an ability to detect danger even with the slightest sound and grow stronger while sleeping.
Now, what would be a better way to recognise his role in the manga if it is not with a retro illuminated figure of him?
